MANDATE
Oversee the coordinated planning, policy-making, evolution, administration and monitoring of the electricity sector in the State.
FUNCTIONS
- Implement and oversee government electricity policies, projects, and initiatives across the State.
- Facilitate the development and management of electricity infrastructure and facilities within the State.
- Collaborate with Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies, in achieving electricity reliability and sustainability in the State.
- Drive an enabling environment for public and private sector investment in the power sector.
- Ensure the availability of cost effective electric power supply.
- Provide centralized control and maintenance of electricity distribution infrastructure across all MDAs in Lagos State.
