Carry out prospecting activity and collecting stratigraphic and structural data.
2. Analyze, assess, interpret, and report on all geological surveys undertaken in the state.
3. Provide advisory on geoscience and its applications to the government and general public.
4. Advise companies seeking licenses or concessions for exploration or any related activity.
Plans and implements state policies on Energy and Mineral Resources to ensure the availability of reliable energy for all residents in Lagos State as well as making Lagos State an Energy investment destination using available mineral resources as catalysts.
